It all began with an idea.

Le Petit Bees is a Local Apiary & Beekeeper service.

Our bees make the honey. We care for them and twice a year we harvest some to enjoy and sell. We always leave honey for the bees; unlike the big commercial bee outfits.

  • Our honey ALL comes from our hives.

  • Its 100% Local.

  • No fillers or flavors added to our honey products, EVER.

  • Our honey is raw, minimally filtered from our LLANO COUNTY apiary ranch bee yard locations.

  • We stock, manage and harvest all our bee yards ourselves.

  • Our honey is never heated.

  • We jar our honey in GLASS jars ONLY.

  • No plastic.

Why our honey is so special:

We sell small batch, raw, minimally filtered and never heated honey from our hives on naturally managed land.

Once we are out of stock, we are out —until the next harvest season.

Our bee yards are all stocked, equipped, managed and harvested by our Le Petit Beekeepers. We provide AG BEES and beekeeper services. Landowners are paid in honey. The county provides Ag Exemption benefits.

At Madelon’s Little Bees Apiary in Llano County (aka: Les Ruchers du Madelon Le Petit Bees in Llano County, Texas) we aim to deliver the best of:

  • Ag-bees including hive equipment and management for local landowners who want to participate in our little honey production operation and enjoy an ag-exemption. We provide the bees, all equipment and beekeeping services in exchange for access to your land. Landowners benefit by receiving an Ag exemption from the Llano County.

We are a Texas A&M registered Beekeeping/Rescue operation. The Apiary family are all “T-sippers” from the University of Texas, but we know agriculture! Our bee rescue/removal service is FREE and subject to time availability. A paid bee rescue outfit may be your best option if its an emergency.

We love Texas and ALL Texans! Our roots run deep in the USA.

We are a Llano local, 7th generation Texas family and 16th generation American family. We trace our roots back to the Mayflower.

We offer Educational Apiary tours and Beekeeping educational presentations by appointment.
